The gap between how organizations think they work and how they actually do — that's where most of my work happens. I help leaders in finance, healthcare, and telecom close that gap: getting clear on what's actually going on, understanding why, and building the conditions to do something about it.
My background is in computer science, which turns out to be a useful lens for this: systems, structure, where things break down and why. Most of my career has been applying that way of thinking to organizational problems — less about the technology, more about the underlying logic of how complex things are built to work.
Beyond client work, I'm involved in Dallas civic and neighborhood life — neighborhood leadership, public policy, the slow work of making a city better. The questions look different on the surface, but they're often asking something similar underneath.
